Developing Talk for EY & KS1 Pupils - Whole School Use
This video is for whole school professional development use and provides practical strategies for developing talk for EY KS1 Pupils.
This practical and engaging course is designed for practitioners working with Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 pupils, with a particular focus on supporting EAL learners at the early stages of learning English.
Participants will explore how music, songs, rhymes and stories can create meaningful opportunities for children to develop their English language skills in a fun, supportive and highly interactive way.
The workshop will explore:
• Practical strategies for developing vocabulary, pronunciation and phonological awareness.
• How songs, rhymes and repetition can support language development and grammatical accuracy.
