DANNY DIAZ RODRIGUEZ

Danny joined HLS Ltd following several years as an EAL Consultant with the Hounslow EAL Team. Whilst with the Team, he combined his central language service management role with a key training role. He has a wide range of experience of EAL teaching and training across primary and secondary schools and has also taught at University level in Spain. Danny contributed to the development of the successful HLS EAL Assessment Pack with his in-depth knowledge of newly arrived EAL pupils. These assessment materials have been adopted by the REAL Gifted and Talented Project and published on their website. Danny contributes to our HLS publications and our website, with his work on project materials for developing language across the curriculum. He leads our very successful courses for staff in Early Years settings, with our training programme on ‘Supporting Bilingual Children in Early Years Settings’. These courses include a focus on inclusion and community cohesion.
