HLS IN DUBLIN!
HLS have worked with international teachers every summer, and this August was no exception. Two Italian schools sent over 20 teachers to Dublin for a long course covering the teaching of CLIL subjects. CLIL stands for 'content, language, integrated learning', essentially meaning that teachers are required to teach some of their subject content through the medium of another language; in this case English. The teachers we worked with represented a range of subjects, including Maths, Physics, History, Computer Science and English.
