Purpose: T- Charts can help organise content using 2 key concepts. Pupils can then organise content/language into the 2 areas. Providing a clear language pattern in the form of a substitution table enables pupils to report back orally and write simple sentences of their own. Simple, compound or complex sentences can then be modelled depending on the stage of English of the learner.
